  • Cloud backups: Cloud backups involve storing your data on a remote server managed by a third-party provider. This offers several advantages, including offsite storage, scalability, and automatic backups. However, it's important to choose a reputable provider with strong security measures.
  • Hybrid backups: A hybrid backup strategy combines local and cloud backups. This provides the best of both worlds, offering fast local restores and secure offsite storage.

Implementing a backup strategy is a fundamental security step that everyone should take. By regularly backing up your data, you can protect yourself from the potentially devastating consequences of data loss. Choose the type of backup and method that best suits your needs and budget, and make backups a regular part of your routine.
